SURVEY OF PARASITOIDS AND PREDATORSOF IMPORTANT SCALE INSECTS, MEALY BUGS AND WHITE FLIES IN EGYPT

ABSTRACT

A survey of natural enemies of scale insects, mealy bugs and white flies was conducted in different regions of Egypt during the period 1987 - 1990 . Twenty two parasitoid species and nine predators were recorded. Most of the recorded natural enemies belong to the families Aphelinidae, Encyrtidae.. Pteromalidae, Coccinellidae, Nitidulidae and Chrysopidae.
